    Question Lake Hartwell S.C. ?

I have a friend building a house right on the water w/ramp...just wondering how big the Lake is?
Good straight-line running end to end or, running in circles?
OT headers ok to run or, ticket and get-off the Lake?

Hartwell was 17ft!!!! down yesterday morning!. The lake is really big... Big enough for the big offshores to run.. but like Eddie said the Corp insists that the lake was built to make power primarily and recreation secondly... Property value is suffering because of it. When its full its kick ass

    Default Get togethers?

I just moved out to Georgia, Merietta area. I am looking forward to seeing some of the most beautiful lakes that the south has to offer. I hope to meet some fellow jet boaters!! Lake Allatoona is 15 minutes away, but cant wait to hit Lanier, any gatherings I should know about?

I also live in Georgia, 1 mile from launch ramp at little river on Allatoona. Hit me up, summer can't get here fast enough!

hatwell is a pretty big lake but it is always low. some of the faster boats hang out at party island near portman shoals marina.

We can't wait to take our jet to Lanier...my family lives in Oakwood which is right on the lake.

There is a party cove which is on the southern side of the lake...kinda near the lake lanier islands resort. The last time we were at the party cove in lanier, we were inundated with lake lice (jet skis) and it wasn't much fun for us at all....we couldn't safely swim near our boat because of them. I heard jet skis were outlawed on the lake.....not sure how much truth there is to that now.
