OK, High Rock is over. Time to get ready for the first SPB race!!! Some of you fast boys that were at High Rock need to come on down here so you can actually run them boats, and not worry about bad water conditions!! Everyone is welcome!!!! We would really like to have ya!! Dont make excuses, just show up and race!! or hang out, which ever you prefer. There is also a big poker run that weekend for those of you who like to do that!! HOPE TO CYA SOON!!!!!!!!!

    Default june 26th

Was just wondering how far are you guys running down there?
I will say it was rough as hell at high rock? I don't see how those guys can run their boats so hard in that water? I think we would like to come down and check out what you guys have going on. Also what do you need to run, jacket,helment,ect...

Had a great time at high rock with you guys and sorry about being such a dick Saturday, I was drunk??

We just need to get on the same page with what we want distance wise.
I feel sure that was not you lake setup on the pump you had at high rock?

Nate, dont worry about saturday. We are way past that. As far as water. The cove we run in is smooth as glass 95% of the time. There are no houses at all in the cove so there is not alot of traffic. Plus the fact that DNR does a great job keeping other boats out of the way. We will probably set the course up for 660' (1/8 mile) with plenty of shut down room. You be the judge of safety equipment, but we like to see people at least wearing a life vest and a functional kill switch. Most of the racers know how fast their boats are, and take appropriate measures for their safety, as well as others. This is an outlaw event with no rules to speak of. We do expect the racers not to drink while they are racing. plenty of time for that afterwards!! As far as our pump setups go, we did have lake setups for High Rock. Only because we knew it wasnt a race weekend! Would like to see ya come down. Bring the rest of the boys with ya. If you have any other questions feel free to call me. Hope to cya here!!! Later Tim

    Default Map

Here is a google earth overview of the marina, ramp, and race course. Its approximatly 2 miles from spinners resort by water to the course. And approximatly 1/2 mile from ramp 3. Unfortunately, there is not alot of parking at ramp 3, maybe 15 spots. allthough, it is a free public ramp. Hope this helps anyone deciding to come down. Feel free to call me for more info. Thanks Tim

Damn nice video, that was some tremendous racing. I would like to see racing video like that at all boat rallies this summer. That is what makes this hobby so exciting.
