Ugh - another botched trip to the lake, boat ran like total crap. Started up right away as it should and would idle just fine, but within 5 minutes of driving it sputtered out and died, luckily this time it fired right back up but continued to die over and over again. It would run great for like 2-3 min, then just sputter and die.

We also got stuck in that insane thunderstorm on the way home, boat filled up with like 6" of water, took my little bilge pump 30 minutes to empty it when I got home, which by that time was sunny again...

Anyone know how to patch a big hole in the bottom and transom so I can hang one of these off the back of it.

Sounds like a electrical demon still has a hold of you. Always remove the drainplug when you pull the boat out. Park out in a good storm it fills up quick. Just don't forget to put the plug back in next trip!
