River may be too high due to the storms. I was thinking of putting in at Mullett Lake Park but I think this storm will put a damper on it..

Any Lodging on the lake or river? We want to put in somewhere south of the lake and cruis up river to the lake and then to silver glen.Looking for something like a cabin or something of that sort.We just want to get away for a couple days and meet new people. Why aren't you taking your boat?My exhaust runs thru transom so it's not loud.Thinking bout changing that this winter though. My boat's not fast but we have fun on it.

    Looks that way!
Anyway,we camped at St Johns river campground in Astor.Had a blast.Never made it to the Glenn though.Went through the cattle shutes into the lake and it was rough as hell.Turned around and headed back south down the river.Didn't see too many other boats out on Saturday.Did see another Jet though. The guy stopped and only info I got from him was it was an '87.Clean looking sled though. That was later in the evening as we were headed back to the boat launch. All in all we had a great time and will be going back again!

Let me know if you go up.We went back up this past weekend.Took my folks up and a had a great time.We camped at Highland fish camp this time.Went south down the river on saturday and north up to Lake George Sunday. Were'nt many boats out.Lake was laid down nice though.I couldn't find Silver Glen but did find Salt Glen.We opted to take the boat camp verses Biketoberfest.Been there and done that so many times we justed didn't feel like doing it again this year.

We came in from the south side of the lake.I think we may have been too far from shore line to see the markings for Silver Glen.We went into Salt springs with no troubles but when we were heading out I sucked alot of weeds into my pump just as we were enetering back into the lake.I don't know the area so no surprise.Had to pull the hand hole cover off and clean it out and then on our way.I have a '77 sleekcraft with a 460 single carb and berk pump.Nothing radical, just fun.Does 55-60 on gps depending on conditions. We most likely wont be out there this coming weekend but looks good for the following.I did see where there is a toys for tots run on Dec4th. and that same night they are doing a boat parade of lights. That's going on down around the jungle den.
