Dyno recommendations East Bay California?

    Default Dyno recommendations, Doing Water Test First Questions

    Ok i'm ready to have my engine dyno tuned and need some recommendations on any places you guys have used or heard good things about. Preferably in the San Fransico bay area. I have a blown 540 BBC pump gas. Also what is the going price for a tune just so when i start calling around i have a better ideal of what is reasonable. Thanks guys.

    Joey's a serious bad ass for sure. Can't go wrong with him. I also use and recommend Dave's Engine in Newark. Super cool dude, helps me a bunch and has a LOT of blown gas/blown alky experience.

    S&S in San Leandro, ca and Daves in Fremont are both great choices.

    That's what i was going to say, that's about half what i have been getting quotes for, I'm a little hesitant now though becuase i am running a 6-71 on a 540. So I'm thinking ill do a little on water test first with my a/f meter just to see if i can build the 7 pounds of boost i'm looking for out of the little blower without spinning it too fast. Id hate to take time off work and setup fee at the dyno just for them to say my blower is too small which it could very well be.... running on 91 pump gas

    So I've got a few questions for my first run.. I've done some reading but just want to check what you guys think.. For my First run im looking for a/f ratios close to 14:1 idle, 12.5:1 cruise, 11.8 or less wot?

    And Also right now i have my total advanced timming set at 28* is that a little high for a first run? Have a little bit tied up into this long block so i want to be extra careful not to grenade it the first time out..

    This is in a 21 eliminator daytona jet with an A High Helix so shouldn't be turning much over 6k

    A quick overview of my setup:
    Chevy Gen 6 540 4.5 bore 4.25 stroke studded top and bottom
    eagle forged rotating h beams upgraded rod bolts je forged dish pistons
    Afr 325 cnc chamber compression ratio measured at 8.1:1
    cam specs: hydraulic roller 240in 250ex at .050, 613lift 114 lobe sep.
    The blower is 6-71 stripped on custom high rise manifold no IC running 10% over, two 750dp holley's
