    Default Not intended for street use

    Anyone know why the WIX 51515R oil filter has this warning? I've done some research and can't figure out why.

    Maybe because it has no bypass is my guess.

    because it has an unbelievable large micron rating. Something like 60 microns. Flows like the Hoover Dam, but not the best filter out there for a non racing applications.

    As opposed to the Fram "racing" filter, and VR1, the Wix racing filter is a true race only filter.
    Your best bet for flow verses filtering is the Wix/Napa Standard filter, Baldwin, K&N/Mobil 1.

    Wow, 61 microns actually...no thanks. What would be a good alternative to the Fram HP1?
