    Default Blower shop

Is there any difference between the shops? TBS,BDS, Hampton, Dryers, etc. Every shop has totally different prices. I'm looking to freshen up a 177/174, new seals, Teflon strips, check rotors, & timing. Any one preferred over the other?

I've always dealt with mooneyham and littlefield... but pretty much anyone worth their salt and has a good reputation should be able to do the job. I deal with the mentioned two just because I have been pleased with the customer service and quality of the work... but also have had customers that were very happy with BDS and others... just depends on who does the job for the price and level of quality you are looking for (but not in that order). If you're not sure, give a couple of shops a call and see... sometimes a phone call will narrow the list just by the person on the other end's attitude and willingness to discuss what you'd like to have done.

I am a fan of the blower shop. Eric was great to deal with. Beautiful stuff... since you are freshening yours up, any of those will be quality work.
