    Default mech injection

Stupid question here but if you have larger nozzles in the hat will that give you more fuel at the same leakdown % with everything else being the same?

When u leak down a barrel valve that is the base setting then it should be adjusted to what the engine want's.The notch in the spool determines the amount of fuel at idle.Bigger nozzles will lower the system psi.The best $$$ spent would be having the system flowed. Is this a new system ??

Are the spools in a bird and bug different?

Question > is there a reason we don't see more "mechanical" injection boats on the water for lake river runners???
Are they 'race only' preferred, problematic for daily use?

Good qustion I don't think so but there are several alc.and gas spools they even sell banks so u can grind your own notch in them. The spools are diff in the k valve & the cube

Mfi.....( can be)...... tuned to drive on the lake.Mostly they are off or on wo or go. The carb is the way to go on gas at the lake. mfi is ok on alc due to the tuning window being sooo wide

In the limited drive time that I have I have found that mech inj. can be rolled into it just takes much smaller movements with the go peddle.
