Dude, they ran 150 in your boat.
    I'd say they are fine.

RHS/Comp Cams BB Chev heads are some of the worst quality heads available. They're Chinese castings, they have LOUSY flow numbers and I haven't seen a set yet that didn't need a complete valve job, right out of the box. The older Pro Topline heads weren't bad from what I know.

That figures!! They were good castings 10+ years ago. They are getting old been surfaced several times. I just wanted to know before I wasted time looking into them. I can hear them now these are a bad ass set of heads we've never had any problems. Thanks for the heads up !! Craig

I just did a set for another PB member and it was nothing less than frustrating to get them right. I had a brand new, 2012 pair straight from Comp Cams and they were so bad I sent them back. Then, the set they sent me as a replacement were even worse! The seats weren't even installed right. They weren't down all the way, but they had the final valve job. I had to replace four intake seats and do a complete valve job on ALL seats. Fortunately the guides were OK.

I also have a set of the older ProToplines that i believe were made in Australia? Anyway they were on my old engine and held up well to the boost & NOS. To bad to hear that they were farmed out to china.

I have a set of the same heads and yes they needed a little work. Not as much as steelcomp had to put into his but none the less work was needed. Valve job was good seats and guides were good. flow numbers were not as advertised but then again when are they ever. For the price and the machine work I was way under what a set of darts or afr's would be and they perform extremely well. If I needed another set of heads I wouldn't hesitate to buy another set.

Not joking here, nice pro 1's would trade for the 360 rhs deals if any one is interested.
