    Default LS2 tuning

Who here in the SoCal area can do a CARB legal dyno tune on a 2008 Trailblazer SS AWD?
It currently has a K&N Cold Air Intake, it'll be mostly a "run around" town vehicle, but will occasionally be towing a Bezer or 21 Hallett Vector to Needles or Bass Lake.

As long as the cat(s) are in place, you shouldn't really have any problem with any tune. I took my wife's '04 Yukon for smog the last three times - all with Predator tune in place. Also has AIRAID intake and Flowmaster cat-back. Of course, those two items are 50-state, but the Predator is not. Always passes with flying colors. Just turned 100,000 miles. I changed plugs to E3s and wires to Crane Fireball and it just got smogged again - no problems at all. The place I take it to for the smog(s) is by-the-book and is not pulling any tricks for me.

A trick tune for OBD-II vehicles should only (technically) make it run CLEANER. It's when you start getting into cam changes and fuel pressure adjustments that make it hard to smog.

I have the edge cs programmer, flow master cat back exhaust and k&n cold air intake on my 03 silverado and it passes smog no problems. I know my programmer is actually advertised as 50 state legal too.
