Default Marble Falls Texas boat races

Not real sure this is the place to post this but im going to anyways i have been asked by my local oreillys here in marble falls to get a list of stuff us boat racers us around this time so he can order everything and have it in stock for us its a little early but he wants to get everything for us. Of course he isnt going to order stuff from enderle or bds or stuff like that heres the list of stuff he wants and part numbers if possible from us.

    intake gaskets
spark plugs in NGK and autolite for alcohol, nitrous and gas parts numbers
    accerator pumps
i think he even said he would get a couple of good tilton starters on the shelf
    coils
    plug wires
i might even be able to talk him into stocking a few nitrous solinoids
oils i already told him vr150 weight because thats what i run
    gear oils
what ever you guys can come up with that a parts house can get there hands on not spare short blocks or anything keep it real guys

Maybe a few Holley rebuild kits and some jets. Most of the big boys probably bring way more than they need.

He can do the heads gaskets the spark plug kits, holley parts, maybe a set of rocker arms but not sure will ask. Like above post the big boys will probably have what they need but us poor boys buy as we break shit and every year there many that need stuff and there is one parts house thats willing to go the extra distance for us and its less than a mile from the track. They just built it you know the road you line up on before they let us in the park you go down to 1431 and go across the road by dairy queen and the oreillys is on the left side they just built it and the manager is cool as hell and is willing to help us with alot of the stuff we need.

Hey vince Pm your spark plug part numbers and some of the stuff you may need if you guys are coming this year

since your goin all out for ron, how about a motel room that doesn't have the price tripled? everywhere within 40 miles has their "normal" prices jacked double to triple. i don't mind the 1100 mile road trip, the wind, the heat/humidity, but the room rates are just a stab in the back to racers. hate it...

the only thing i've ever broken there was a boweye. couldn't find one anywhere. got one that we could make fit at the local marine store. now i carry a spare even though i'll probably never need it...

Cant do anything for you there man i have often wondered why they do that myself everywere else in texas gives boat racers a deal on motel rooms but my home town. You should deal with the EDC here in town and try and run a company my old boss got shit from them all the time. But i live about 6 miles outside of marble falls in granite shoals by lake lbj its alot better.

not blaming you at all. but it is very frustrating. i've raced a lot of different places. from oregon to san diego to malvern. this is the ONLY place a room can't be found at the normal rates on a race weekend. i've won there 3 times, and i really like racing there no matter the conditions. but i can't express how much this pisses me off...

We stayed at a lake cabin mobile home in the next small town about 11 miles away. Down the hwy that intersects with the corner of the race park. Wasn't a bad deal. Right on the water behind a Valero gas station. But there were 4 of us 2 bedrooms.

Will be staying at the track this year.

The price up-charge (gouging) is just our way of saying we love ya. We call it free enterprise.

Yep...If it weren't for the boat racers, they'd have no reason to raise their prices. I say they should give the racers the non race weekend rate and the out of towners the "SPECIAL EVENT WEEKEND RATE" that come to see the races. Oh thats right.....we the racers HAVE all the money.Tim
