Default Carb ?'s, carb is no longer too small!

I'm ditching the 30+ year old dual plane intake and single 850 in favor of a tunnel ram and dual 850's, even though I've never even started the f***ing thing yet. I need some sort of starting point for the jetting, power valves, and anything else I might need to know to set the carbs up. Both carbs are mech. sec. Holley 850 List #4781.

13.25:1 BBC, .714/.714 lift, .274/.278 @ .050, I'm not sure what else is needed as far as info. Thanks!

No O.T., but the side work is kicking some serious butt right now!

You oughta step up for that cam. Cheapest 75hp you'll ever get, and the one you have is going to be a tuning "challange", to say the least.

Basically the 850 "I had" was a trade that went south.

Probably won't go on a dyno until the MFI is on.

I know I should but I'm not going to at this time. Thanks, Rod.

    Red face fix for head

ya mine after to many beers and tekiller shots lol, sorry for the misdirected frustration at the start of that last reply.... i do think a smaller cam peaking around 6500 would be easier for you to get the rest of your set-up sorted out on a new deal and then step it up when your ready for more

No worries, it made me LMFAO.

It's strange how my mis-guided brain works, I don't have the $450 for a dyno, don't have the $450 for a cam, but I did (apparently) have the $600 for a TR and a couple of Hollie's. LOL

What heads did you wind up with (990's) and that cam lilrick is selling is pretty close to what you were looking at right? Do you really have 15.1 comp?

ProComp, 320 cc runner heads, I have a C impellor for it but it's not in the pump yet, I already have a cam, and the compression is 13.25:1. I'm going to run 110 race gas while I use the 2 850's. It's getting close to getting wet.
