I have been looking up some jet chart on my pro race fogger on my canyon before we head to waco so say go squared 28s fuel and nitrous for a 250 shot and some want a bigger jet in the nitrous side than the fuel. I have been testing it on the trailer by setting my prgrammer at like 30 percent max and getting rpm up and touching the micro switch. It seams to be working great i notice shes a little fat at the hit smoke just a bit but i want to be safe to start out and not tear anything up. What are you guys running with a 250 shot. Im also going to be pulling 4 degress of timing out with a digital retart box not at a 30 percent hit but when i run a 250 i will be.
My 2 cents, if its a race deal, I would send my stuff to a reputable nitrous tuner (Jeff Prock, Steve Johnson, Monte Smith) and have them flow your system and create a custom nitrous, fuel, and timing map for your combo. I used Prock on my race car and I was shocked how spot on the tune was, and fast. I have never used a "factory" NOS map, but they seem conservative. Timing will kill it the fastest so be conservative with it. We never saw big gains by running the timing on the edge. It just made the tune up window that much smaller if something went a miss. Make short hits and pull the plugs and ease into it. Also, get yourself and O2 sensor setup. All the above guys recommend them to get the most out of your setup.
