Default Bbc pistons 1.56 compression height

Found a set of brand new arias large dome pistons sitting on a shelf. 4.280 bore but compression height is 1.56. Only config I see these working in is a tall deck 4in stroke with 6.635 rod! Any one have any ideas before they become ash trays?

That's an odd compression height. A 427 crank with a 6.385 rod only puts you out of the hole a tad with a standard deck block (.025"). A .065 head gasket gives you .040 to the piston. That would be a fun 432" engine with that 1.7 rod ratio, some good heads/cam/induction and spin it.

they work the same with 4.25 crank and a stiock 6.135 rod
If you don't have to deck the block

my block has already been decked to 9.780 so id have to find another block. kinda stupid to build a motor around a set of pistons! if i had everything sitting around id do it but since id need rods and a block id rather just stay 4in stroke! or 4.250 with a 6.385 rod . they are yours bob
