Default Looking to run evac pump

Was looking into running an evac pump on my little single carb motor and wanted to know who makes a good pump or are they pretty much the same? I get a little blow by at high rpm's and want to control this..
Also if any one has a complete one for sale let me know? Thanks

    Default vac pump

I'm a huge fan of them. I do have a spare I'd be willing to separate with. I'll get back to you this evening.

If Jerry doesn't hook you up, check with GZ Motorsports. They're up the hill in volcano and make a really nice set up. It's a small operation run by a couple sportsman racers. I'll be interested to see how you mount it. Circle boats are a PITA for driven accessories. I just put a puke tank set up on our circle boat to help with the "high RPM drool"....

Not to jack this, But does the engine displacement..dictate what pump to use?
    or compression?

Engine size and RPM play a role.

Thanks that was a question that came up also?
David I think star perf has one that can run either direction. I left a message today and am waiting a phone call back?

I would say rpm plays a bigger role than engine size, and possibly type of fuel. Gas or alcohol.

ID:	293634If you are not looking for something to expensive and not too shiny check out the A-1 Cardone smog pump. I have had one on my El Camino for years. 7 inches of vacuume @3500 and almost 13 inches @ 7000 works great for the street. Also dyno tests showed 22 hp for the trouble.
Need help finding this 1973 Sanger 18'6" bubble deck mahogany bottom and stringers I was living in Pomona when I sold her in 1979. Just wonder if she still exists

Update Found my old Sanger 12/7/14 in Reno.
