    Default holley electric fuel pumps

is there a difference between the holley marine electric pump compared to just a regular electric holley fuel pump? i bought just a regular one and then realized they make marine ones. is it okay to run what i got or should i return it and get a marine one? thanks

To me there is no difference...all holley electric fuel pumps suck. Have had 2 of them. They are noisey as hell. They don't last either. I switched to a Mallory 140 and so far I am happy with it.

I agree with you they don't last. Mechanical is the way to go.

I've ran Holley electric pumps for YEARS, had one fail after sitting for over a year! One! Noisy? Maybe, when the engine is off. But then again, your mechanical isn't doing squat when the engine is off. I couldn't hear a dozen Holley electric pumps running at the same time in my boat! Is noise an issue?

To the OP, open engine compartment or enclosed? I run a standard in an open compartment, no issues!
