Gates to small, or poor placement. We have had the same problems even with dual 60mm gates and correct placement. We cured it by adding a cheap $35 BOV to the charge pipe with a light spring and let the boost blow it open. A controlled boost leak if you will.
Then I added a solenoid & put a button on my steering wheel to close the bov if you want to add the power.

    X2 gates are too small.

that solenoid you use on the bov, ya think itd be ok with watermeth flowing thru it? Wanting to put a hobbs and solenoid on my 3rd injector preturb so it doesnt turn on till 16lbs(8lbs after the first two turn on).

Dare to be different, if it turns out great you can claim you planned it that way.

I'd go ahead and do it. Whats the worse thing it could do?

I think it will fine if you don't have a magneto and rev limiter

I'm not trying to get to technical its just a street car I like to Cruz so 10psi was the limit its none inter cooled an I thought about water/meth injection but 10psi is border line I don't know if it will pull that kind of boost on the street may not load as hard like the dyno would 45mm wastegate make any differnces this was the last pull at 16psi 112 fuel 27 ° timing

He doesn't have to worry bout it Bob, he runs puny stuff like you do. So he wont see the problems some of the more powerful stuff deals with. Any old ignition system will work with that small stuff. Hell, even a set of points/condenser & coil will fix you boys up.

I don't know if it would stand up to that or not. I'll pm ya the part # and you can research it.
