    Default Water temp

I am having an issue with getting the temp up on the motor. I have a 556 with aluminum dart heads, bravo outdrive, merc pump, with the Harden Marine crossover kit. The kit comes with a 140* thermostat but i am only building temp up to 100*. I put in a mechanical gauge just to see if my in dash gauge was bad and same reading. Any ideas on this one?

So what type of pump are you running and what are the temps you run. How many people have a circ. pump on the front of the motor and how many are using a sea water pump with the crossover. I have had one thing after another messing with me on this new motor. Boat runs great but no temp.

Who cares about water temp , you want the oil to get a little over 200 * to burn off moisture , do it with a oil thermostat

Pretty much the only place unless you have a remote filter or oil cooler.
