    Default Waste Gate Pictures??

I want to run waste gates but not really sure how they mount up. Sounds like it may be something that I have to fab up to mount. I have the Banks twin turbo set up. Any pictures out there?

I used to have a set of Banks Chevy risers and manifolds that were setup for external wastegates. I guess Banks did not make very many of them. I sold them with my Ford turbo kit earlier this summer.

So they are out there. Might be kinda hard to retrofit the cast pieces, might be better off switching manifolds.

get with hass828, he has almost the exact same banks set-up as you and he's got external gates on his tpr stealth.

Default Custom Fab riser by Imco

I had Imco fab me the risers with the waste gate ports for my Banks setup. Not cheap but nice.

What size are the wastegates? How much boost are you running?
    Thanks in advance.

    Default More pics

I posted a few pics in the photo gallary. Look for my screen name and you should find them. Or search for "turbo"

I'm running about 10-12 pounds of boost on a 509 motor. It makes about 1000 hp and about 1100 ft pounds of torque with an EFI setup. The waste gates are from Turbonetics. These are the Race Gate but I would need to check the size. I bought new turbo's without the bypass and wanted the waste gate to bleed off the pressure.

What images are you needing and if I have them I'll post them for you.

n8dawg I made a set of aluminum spacers to go between the turbos and the exhaust manifold to bolt wast gates to. There are pictures of my boat in the v drive section under Needles Fall blast page 2 number 54 and page 9 number 252. I am running 11 Lb. boost and ave gas. If I can help let me know.
78DiMarco what EFI are you running? How do you like it?

    Thanks j.j.

Hass828 - The risers I designed but I had them fabricated by IMCO. The guy (Air is his name) that did the fabrication at Imco is a real artist and knows how to weld and fabricate. Even the waste gate area has a water jacket. I was very impressed by his work and pleased with my dealings with them. He had them done in about two or three weeks.

beaverfab - The EFI is from Boostpower. I'll need to check what brand controller he used but it has 96 pound injectors with a Weldon pump and a 1550cfm throttle body. The boat is still being finished as it is with Lee at Schiada now having the interior done. In the next few weeks we'll get it wet and do some on the water tuning. Until then I can't tell you how it works or if I like it but I'm sure it will be better than my previous carburated motor
