    Default Gasket matching?

First timer here. Before I ruin my new manifold. If I remove the material were marked will this be ok? Also do you trim off gasket that will be in the valley? ( If it's the right gasket going the right way?) Trying a rebuild and want to get all the grinding done. Thanks for any help. Johnf

If there is any gasket hanging in the port, trim it away. Other wise just install it. Grinding the manifold is a waste of your time, unless you have else to do. Like putting it back together.

Thank you BOB, That was alot easier than getting rid of the bumps on the exhaust! Another chore off the list.
