    Default Need Motor Input

I recently looked at a gen V motor. It is complete from carb to oil pan. I has 10114182 cast in the rear, identifying a gen V block, 4 bolt main. It is completely stock with only about 4 or 5 hours on it. Still has original oil filter and belts. The guy priced the long block with the electric fuel pump, separator, starter, and mounts for 2500. The motor looks band new. I know its only rated at 330 hp. I'm looking for around 400. I think a decent cam and aluminum intake would get my closer. Just wanting some input on this. The motor is less than an hour away. Not many jet boat motors for sale in TN. Thanks in advance.
