Default banks Q's blow-thru vs draw thru?

Just bought some banks manifolds, do they have a standard t4 flange? Also I was planning on doing blow-through, Are the manifolds themselves what determines that or is it just a matter of how you plumb things, so to speak?

you can use that set-up for a blow thru. go blow thru, there's just to much hp/tq difference between the 2 set-ups to ever think about drawing thru.

i know they get the clearences alil tighter on the draw thru dealios, but if you order turbos , that's not gonna be an issue. you'll need external wastegates as well.

Dare to be different, if it turns out great you can claim you planned it that way.

i've been on my buddy hass to do it for awhile he has the same banks set-up, and we both think the draw thru set-up suxxxxx works great for mild boost, but to restrictive for biggg boost. blow thru is where its at

check out the cheap air to water intercoolers on ebay, they're less than 200bucks and i've herd/read great things about them. i'm shooting for 1100hp outta my blow thru sbc, but i'm gonna run the 2000hp air to water intercooler from ebay, just so i can run ALOT of boost on pump gas, then realllllly crank up the boost of good gas.

you're just gonna be limited by those logs, seems that around 12lbs of boost is the limit.

check out the quickfuel 750 ban carbs for the blow thru deal, they're less expensive than a custom deal, seem to have alot better reputation than the BG stuff. i've read several customer reviews on the quickfuel 750cfm blow thru carb, and most say they came outta the box perfect, others said tuning was done, but minor and correctable in 10 minutes. its what i've decided on, i can't justify spending 1400-1800 bucks for a custom job.

ebay also has some nice 60mm wastegates for around 89-99 bucks, they're purple and come with the springs etc., have read several good things about them too. lots of peeps will push ya towards 400-700buck wastegates, when the 99 job will do just as good.

Dare to be different, if it turns out great you can claim you planned it that way.

Me and a buddy of mine both ran those logs on jet boats and run them up to 25 lbs boost. Also dynoed a 454 with old rajay turbos and made 925 hp with them. they may not be optimal for higher boost, but they made the stock type 454 jet haul ass for cheap.
