Yes. My setup runs 10 PSI on 91 octane. There is simply no way it could do it without an intercooler.

yes, definetly, with its function of eliminating detonation & creating a colder charge into the intake, its gotta be worth the +'s...SuperChiller says it will add 40-50 HP...they dont weigh near 100# & only add 4" overall...if the circle boat guys run them, they must be worth it!!!!

Mike lives & boats mainly in the inland waters around Phoenix area, where the temp's reach 110+ in the summer!...a cooler will help tremendiously with that by eliminating any chance of detonation ...he also will prob run av gas or E-85, thereby makeing all the power he wants at a reasonable amount of boost

IMO, i wouldnt leave home without one!

just my .02 cents for what its worth

I'd have to agree. On a boat, you have an unlimited supply of cold water to run one. It just makes too much sense.

Yea, Well hard to find AV gas when your miles from home and your on the Sacramento Delta. Fortunately did not kill it totally just needs a few pistons. Actually was still running well but was using a little oil! Would not have lasted much longer though.
