Thanks for the advice. I will be talking to my builder we may do it just as insurance but just to remind you this is a low boost set-up 6.5 PSI pump gas deal.

    On to the next problem:

The main thing I am worried about with the current cam is reversion. From reading old threads from the previous owner who had passed away before I purchased the boat (the boat was somewhat in pieces when I bought it) he had problems with reversion when running mufflers. He put in those additional dumps on the headers and took out the mufflers and the reversion problem went away. However, the cam was reground once he lost a roller lifter just before I bought the boat.

When I was doing the testing trying to figure out where the water was coming from I let the boat idle a couple minutes on the trailer and found water in some of the primaries of the headers. The primaries that didn't have water in them currently had evidences that there was water in the primaries at one time. It doesn't appear that the water was getting into the engine but on a long idle like the channel at Pirates Cove who knows this could be a problem. And at some time I thinking I might have to put the mufflers back in.

Here's the pictures I took of the water in the primaries.
