Default carb's on the way, now f.pump and hat?????

ordered the 1652 buck blow thru carb from roger at cs, now i need a pump to get r done and a good used ev pro hat.roger said we needed something that would do at least 209gph(not just free flow 209) and be able to maintain up to 40psi to the carb under full boost. what's the cheapest pump to get the job done? electric or manual, doesn't matter to us, just want the cheaper of the 2

yall keep an eye out for a used ev pro 4150 hat for me, we need 1 bad, but 300bucks new is alil much if i knew what they looked like internally, i could have my neighbor build my uncle 1 stronger than the cast stuff.

mark, $$$$ is on the way fo the headers

Dare to be different, if it turns out great you can claim you planned it that way.

If you've got a place to mount it those block mounted race pumps looked like a good idea to me. http://www.racepumps.com/
$319.00 seems like a good buy.

was thinkin about that 1, hass seems to like his. still be cheaper than a big ole efi aeromotive or something.

mark, have you ever got a look inside the ev pro hats? guys are telling me there's nothing inside them , so i'm wondering why we should spend 300 bucks when i could have my nieghbor fab up a nicer lookin/stronger ss hat. billy's got fab'd sheetmetal alum v/covers, might look nice to have a hat to match.

Tom go to their site and read the schematics on how to plumb it for blow through, their efi pump puts out 150psi and 450gph and their regulators will handle the high press.

rodge said to give it 7psi at idle, and 1psi to 1lb from then on. he also said we'd never need to turn it up to 30lbs boost but you know billy he wants to go ahead and get a ev pro hat, there's gotta be something goin on with em if you can swap it for another brand and pick up 200hp so today i gotta find 1 and get his ic's ordered, maybe his gates too.

i wish but that's outta our budget on this build, so race pump and a aeromotive boost referenced 4 port that should be more than enough and under 400ish.

Aeromotive 132-02 is the reg you want.

What block and rotating assembly and heads is he running?

not gonna say here till we're done, tired of being told "you can't do that" yet when you do it with a blower on alky its acceptable.

anyone have trouble with these loosing prime? ie run out of gas and have to fill the float bowels to get it to prime sometimes even have to dump fuel in the line to get it to suck? I think if I ever put it back on I would run an electric as a back up to avoid that

think hass had a issue or too like that. if they'd allow it work with a efi style bypass regulator instead of deadheading it, air wouldn't be a issue
