    Question What should I expect?

I'm in the process of putting my motor back together for my TX-19.I had problems last year so here's the build for this year, not to wild.454 0.60 over ,stock crank ,ARP main bolts, stock rods with ARP bolts,10.5 TRW forgded pistons,Comp solid mech. cam 629 lift, 262-262 duration on a 106 intake center line,110 lobe separation, Crane roller rockers.Heads 049 casting with Stainless 2.19 int,1.88 exh. with mild port work(valves unshrouded, bowls cleaned up).Team G intake with a 750 mech. secndary with a Pro Form main body,Bassett OT headers.Just wondering what HP to expect out of this combo. Also the boat has a American turbine intake ,loader, shoe.Domiator pump ,detailed bowl ,with a B impeller ,Place Droop and Place FTN divirter .Just wondering what kind of speed with this combo.Any input ,Thanks

my tx had about the same combo/lil more compression(12.5 to 1) when i got it brian, ran 78 on a woreeeeout pump that had holes in the impellor.it would've done low 80's with a decent pump, so you should be bout in that range 78-83ish on motor. hang that hardware at keel, spray it and go make trav boohoo

Dare to be different, if it turns out great you can claim you planned it that way.

All my pump stuff is new(might have 3hrs on it from last year).Just want to get the motor lined out this spring and then get the NO2 lined out .That system I got is a Zex plate set up .Had it last year but never got to hit the button because of chasing other problems. The Zex is a 100 to 300 hp set up ,hope it works as good as they claim(it has no spray bar it's a perimeter spray plate set up).I just picked up the heads from the machine shop today and they look really good .Got a hell of a deal on the work.Port work, cut the heads for bigger valves,Manley SS Sever duty valves ,bronze guides, set the springs up for my cam,(I supplied the springs locks and retainers)Grand total $550 bucks( and plus tax).I thought that was a pretty good deal.

Looks good, BUT, if it's a stock forged crank, you ought to be good to go.
If it's a stock CAST one, from the looks of it, you may well be flirting with disaster once the added RPM with the nitrous comes in.
I've been warned to keep the cast ones under 6-grand, by pro engine builders, the high rpm harmonics is hard on them.

No time this AM to throw it accross DD just to see what it spits out, maybe tonight.

    Best of luck with it.

An easy 550. I saw a similar set up with professionally ported 049s go 620 with a .580 solid yesterday.

x2, its in that area but that carb is a 850 profrom body though right brian? that's plenty big, 750 would be a hair small on it.
