    Default Crank seal and rear main

    What is my best option for front crank seal and rear main seal on a bbc for high vacuume applications ...

    Cometic makes a decent one. I know there are a few double lip seals out there that are good at holding vacuum but I can't think of them off the top of my head. I know some put standard style main seals in backwards if they are planning on pulling vacuum.

    Paul, we still do that.. GN mentioned a long time ago that it's not all that common any more do to some of the new materials that are being used (Not exactly sure so don't quote me. At the time he recommended a FEL-PRO rear seal..

    What about the front crank seal put that in reverse too ?
