    Default Engine id help

I recently bought a boat with a BBC, edelbrock aluminum heads, victor Jr intake, 850 holley, roller cam. The owner had very little info on the engine build and wasn't even sure of the displacement. Does anyone know of a source where I could find a little insight at least on the block using casting numbers?

That's the way to do it. The block casting number is on what would be the driver's side in a car where the bellhousing mounts.
