    Default NASCAR today...

What these guys put these engines through these days is just amazing.
It's fun watching 10,000 rpm bumper-cars in a cereal bowl.

Going fast is only half the fun ... what you make go
    fast is the other half.

It's highly unlikely that a wet sump motor could last very long under that enviornment

Hey, we put 560 1/4 mile passes on one engine with only maintenance and annual freshenings. Still have the Cola Crankshaft - standard/standard to boot.

Our only clean-up was an aluminum rod expiring.

while what these cars do is pretty amazing, given the displacement, plate, etc...they are not stock cars.

I'd much rather see a couple of stock Jettas race. I'd actually be excited if they were american cars that I could buy like in the '60s

What these good 'ol boys wring out of these power plants is simply awesome! Both in horsepower and longevity, it should amaze anyone who's ever built their own bullets.

He is one of those special guys that has to do things different. Unfortunately he is set in his ways so we are just going to have to get used to it. I have.
