Default Single carb dooley scoop mount question

I have a single 4500 dooley scoop that I want to mount without an air cleaner/spark arrester. I would like to mount it without drilling all the way through the top of the scoop. I could use aluminum flat strap, or small angle, but I was wondering if anyone had pics of a cleaner set up?

Also...I have seen scoops pinned through the top of the carb to keep the scoop from spinning, but I'm running a demon 1195 and the edge of the carb is rounded and thick, which would make that difficult.

    Thank you

If you have a flame arrester that is shorter than the scoop, you can probably get a nut on a stud, or even use the proper length bolt to hold it down. Helps to have small hands.

Handle the nut carefully, otherwise if the stud is missed, the nut will be sitting on top of the butterfly.

I think this is what I had in mind. I pm'd the member that made these. If anyone knows of another company that makes something like this Id appreciate it.
