    Default New crank?

Recieved my rotating assembly today and on inspection found this. one hole on each end welded up. Never seen one like this so tell me, is this not good or what. It is supost to be balanced. Should I Keep it or demand another one free of welds.
    Any help would be great

Is this crank supposed to be brand new? If it is did you have them balance it?

So this is normal for a balanced crank? This is my first so it looks strange to me.

Who's rotating assy is this? If it is either a Scat or Eagle you might want to have it Rechecked. Did you get a balance card?

Nothing wrong with it. It would probably be an off the shelf crank so the holes you see are to "get it close" the welding is just the fine tune for your kit.

Without that balance card you will be paying for another balance job.

Let me guess. That sounds like North American Indian, with a French accent and just a touch teeth chatter
