Default Picking new ignition for new build

I have a new 548 BBC 10:1 build I am putting in my boat and it should be around 600+ HP. I am used to running MSD boxes but was considering running this HEI just for simplicity.

    What do you guys think?

Perfect. No reason it wouldn't work well.

I had heard great things about DUI, have only installed one with no issues, then I started to here a few things about problems. You could also try one of the MSD all in one distributors,, or even Pertronix. Most rebuilds that I do don't necessarily get a new ignition.

I have run three of them and never a problem with any of them (not to say I never will). if you do decide to buy one, call them direct and order them. They are the same price as ordering through Summit/Jegs and they will set the curve to your specific engine and vehicle. That is worth its weight in gold. Saves a fair amount of time goofing with things.

Paul I contacted them and they are building up a curve for my setup.

    Thanks
