    Thanks for the explanation. You must have much better eyes than I as I can't see inside the ports to determine their color. If we were dealing aluminum heads I would understand and agree.

    PS I also thought that the term 'reversion" generally referred to water ingestion

    Reversion is simply "backflushing", if you will. Be it exhaust, water, or both.

    Well got more done this weekend. Getting really close. Got all the dash and gauges done and whipple said that my ecm should be here monday. I'm thinking that I should be able to fire this thing off this next week. Next weekend there should be some water testing. Then I still have to start on the rear hatch and seat mods. But I'm leaving all of this off till I'm happy with the install and tuneing of the motor. Here are some more pic along the way

    There little pods with all thread that you drill a bunch of holes in your dash. Theres three all threads that go through the dash and you bolt through on the bottom side. Then you drill a big hole in the center for wires and hoses exc. In the pic I still have the tape on the dash to help prevent the gel from chipping. Let me tell you Is not fun trying to run all the shit inside and still get a backing plate on to hold the guage in. Not much room at all. I hade to use tweezers to get the nuts on. In the pic none or the gauges are mounted yet, just sitting there.

    If you look to the right you can see the template I made to lay them out. When I got done they all fit and lined up strait!!! It's still scary drilling a ton of holes in the top of your dash, but I think they look good there.

    The pods are very cool. First time Ive seen them. The pods look as if they are powdercoated to match your other gauge bezels.

    Looks like you are doing a great and thorough job Brayden! You should ditch work and test it at Havasu at the end of the month when I'll be there!
