    Default Stolen engine stuff

Well they hit me, cleaned out a 10x25 storage unit. Happened sometime in the last couple of weeks and they got everything, everything.... Polished Crowers, polished t/r w/ new 750 drop leg booster Holleys, my Canyon "ultimate" best in the world engine stand, and hundreds of items from engine blocks (5), heads (5 sets 990s,3 sets other MK IV), plus Olds C heads ( 2 sets), intakes (over a dozen including my prized C 66 2x4 Edlebrock), Armando pans,( 2 circle pans) new trailer tires/wheels, (4), V Drives, (4, 2 10*, 2 12*, one with a whirlaway), My Hydroflite 455 complete Olds, a/f to pan, 2 Holley 660 center squirters, fresh, a spread bore 800, also fresh, BBC and Olds headers and wet logs, various tools I accumulated over 5o years, my all important Prop puller, and so many that are irreplaceable... I'm still reeling and remembering stuff that I'll likely never see again, with a rough guess of 20K value. I'm chasing a couple of clues, and researching the storage company's responsibilities since it was their required use lock that failed to keep these assholes out without any lock damage. They had to have had a key.
If anyone is approached to buy some parts/equipment cheap, please call me (805 300 0012) or the Mohave County Sheriff...

Add, about a dozen cranks, 5 steel 427 and 454, 2 Harden marine Olds...

2 mags, Joe Hunt and Vertex, gone also

OK, no cut or damaged lock, re locked afterwards.... I can't tell you guys how much your support helps...
NOW the good news... I know a name and a approximate location where the stuff is. Info comes from a friend of a friend who actually saw and DESCRIBED some of the missing items... That person is very unhappy with the thief and encouraging him to return the stuff "or be in a lot of trouble"... News flash, he is already in more trouble than he could possibly imagine. I have a zero tolerance policy towards thieves... Cops? Yeah, after I get back as much as I can and stick a gun in his ear to find out where he sold what ever is missing. Mohave Valley is a small close knit community, (full of honest hardworking/retired people)..I found out about the theft on Monday, Wednesday I have a name and I'm sure a search warrant served at his house will turn up scores of other people's stolen items...Tomorrow should bring this to a head... Thanks again for all your support....

    Default Friends of friends, golden...

It is amazing what some influential people can do using unconventional influence... Believe it or not, the first load came back last night and I was assured it will ALL be returned forthwith.. I'm beside myself with appreciation.
Damn I love a small community, very few secrets that stay secrete for long. I am cautiously optimistic this will work out in my favor.... I may never know who did the actual break in, but I'm working on that info so as to help others that may not have "influential" people on their side...

Glad you’re getting it all back. I had rage for days when my tailgate got stolen, can’t imagine having all those parts stolen. Good chance meth played a role in the theft.

An acceptable ending is very rare.

    Congrats.

    Default Not all roses

One of the lowlife thieves has decided to play hard ball. After agreeing to the return in order to stay out of jail he has now dug his heels in a is denying any involvement.... Rumor has it he has 2 other cases pending and is currently out on bail, and I'm pretty sure he is on either probation or parole, either one carries "search terms", so a warrant isn't required. Also rumored, he has moved my stuff out of the area. I guess I've done all I can do without the Sheriff, so that is my next move.
I am grateful for the stuff that was returned, but that guy will have to go down with his stupid buddy.....
