    Default Stupid things

From time to time we all do stupid things for our own stupid reasons. Well here in the Miller family we have one of those reasons. We just pulled the engine out of my brothers 75 Chevy blazer that has over 400,000 miles on the ticker. The engine has about 250,000 on it. Well we have an open dyno and my two nephews are living near by (17 and 18 years old) so we are going to run this thing on the dyno. As long as it holds together we will teach each of them about running the dyno as well as tuning “cause and effect”. We have placed bets as to how much power it will make. I think the top number being 217 hp. Lol Yes this thing is that tired. I am willing to bet that with a tune up we could pull another thirty out of it, but that is if it survives. If nothing else it will provide laughs and family memories. When it is all said and done I will share the numbers and maybe a video.

I would bet it pulls a tad more but would like to see a video of the dyno time. M

It will be fun to see. The best part is the whole family will be getting together for the festivities. Many laughs and sodas will be shared. No mater what happens we are going to have fun family time. As long as it doesn’t self destruct I plan on teaching my whole family how to run the dyno. I can’t think of anything better than seeing my nephews and even my mother at the controls and making dyno pulls. Yep, I have one of the coolest mom’s ever.

It's not stupid...it's what we do...

On hold for a week or two more. Lost job and needing to sell the house. That is the very short version of the story. The engine is on the test stand and is about half hooked up. It is taking much longer than normal as I am trying to teach my nephew what and why everything gets done the way it does. If all goes well we may have laughs next weekend.
