I made 4 nitrous passes at Elsinore. Changed bottle after every pass. I finally got around to weighing by bottles and it seems that I used 5 lbs. on every pass. Is that possibe on a 10 second run? They are 10 lb. bottles. 24 lbs. full & they weigh 19 now. Oh yeah, It's a 250 shot. I'm gonna hafta have the old lady follow me up & down the river in the pontoon boat with extra bottles.

sounds about right to me, i could empty a 20lb bottle in 4 passes with my 450hp shot:D a 10lbs bottle may have gotten me 2 full passes, and 1 pass on just the 1st stage.

Charts I have seen say 4 pounds per minuite flow rate PER 100 HP LEVEL.

250 shot = 10#/min flow rate.

Sounds like some of you just need to replace your saddle tanks with some 60lbs NOS bottles! :)devil Just kidding guys.....Man I love NOS last time I used it was in high school street racing my Vega with a s.b. chevy and a cheater unit! Now looking back what a dangerous ride I had! Fun as hell though! And I'm sure NOOOO one else on here used to street race.....:D

for 20 pounds of NOS??

My Gf works with a Dentist, There cost is 2.06 a pound.they charge more for the nitrous plus, sulfer.

my Chevelle I can get allmost 5 passes out of a 10pd bottol.200hp shot. I over fill it by 2 pds ,27 tot, that helps on keeping pressure up,after the first pass i have to use a heater to keep it at 1000-1100.
