When is gasoline not good to use? I have 50 gal of fuel in my boat (full tank) and has been sitting for almost 2 years. I store the boat in Vegas if that matters and is 92 oct

Thanks

I've run stuff that old 50-50 with new gasoline, and never had a single problem.

Drain half out, top it off, and run it all out.

Pour the other half into cars, lawnmowers, motorcycles, whatever, and run it out.

You don't want the pain in the arse (and expense) of "disposal" of it.

Take it out a little at a time and mix with tank of good gas run though your car or truck. That is what I've done in the past to dispose of with no problems. I'm talking maybe 10-15% old to 85-90% good mix. Yes its a pain in the ass.

If you try to dispose of you will have a hell of a haz waste fee to deal with.

Smell it

Smell it. Does it smell like gas or varnish?.....Old/bad gas has such an odor that a quart of it will stink up an entire neighborhood.....If it doesn't smell like varnish add some stabilizer, maybe a few gallons of 110, and run it....As soon as the motor starts you'll know by the odor whether to leave it in the boat or ration it into the truck, car, lawnmower etc etc....If it smells like it should, run it.......Ray
