I switched to K & N also. After winning a few races they sent me 400+ bucks of filters back when they had a contengency program.. When I'm out I'll probably still run them.. Sure like the 1" nut!!!!!

K&N, then Wix Racing, Napa Racing(GOLD), Mobil 1, Moroso Racing, Amsoil. Just about everything else is junk.

    Jomar ?

Lots of good products out there: The Micron rating is interesting ?

The difference between a 30 micron System-1 screen a 20 Micron Moroso and even a 10 micron K&N is pretty damn small.

So long as the 10 micron K&N doesn't by-pass and can filter that small that's great. After looking at this subject for the past year. I'm thinking two K&N's, Jomars or Moroso's. Still up in the air. The K&N's are available pretty at two locations around here.

My bearings had some trash go through them, but it was more than likely from crap in the system. I don't recall them looking that bad before, they typically look pretty good from the System-1 screen ( 30 micron)

The main thing about the Jomar is, if you run a Ford/MoPar typr filter, they don't have a bypass. Most remote filter setups use the Ford filter also. So if you use a Ford filter and don't want a bypass, this is the only filter I know of.

I got rid of my bypass on my chevy and went to the 2 quart K & N (HP-3002 I believe) which doesn't have an internal bypass.. Unfortunately when I went to a dry sump system I couldn't run the 2 quart K & N anymore and gave them to my oldman.. I'm assuming they make one for a FORD also.. Just a thought..
