    Default Electric fuel pumps

The Advantage I just bought has a Gen 5 motor so no mechanical fuel pump.
Its running a Holley Red right now, I am upgrading to a Holley 750 mechanical secondary carburetor. Is this fuel pump ok or should I go to a different brand? if so what is a better pump? The engine is stock and will remain that way for now.
    Thanks

The engine's power demand establishes the fuel supply requirement.

The Holley red pump is a low po set up that probably will do ok if your engine doesn't make much power or your boat is not used in abnormal maneuvers requiring power during same...

You should consider taking a look at the overall fuel supply system and plan ahead by deciding on a fuel pump and regulator that is adequate for the power level intended. Sort of a "do it once and do it right.." kind of issue.

When researching pumps and regulators, note that flow amounts should be at rated pressure. Otherwise it is just marketing hype.
While there are many good systems out there, I highly recommend the components from MagnaFuel.

    Exactly.

A carburetor change (only) will not call for a fuel pump change.
