JON.....I thought we had discussed this. Dynos are not to be believed, and the operators are con men. I thinking with those parts, 925, 950 max. And even then, I'm going to need the cam specs for an over lay.

When did Finn start writing for Hot Rod?

I guess they decided to class the place up a bit

I couldn't tell you it's the first time I've seen and they gave him a 6 page spread.

I shut down my PR company back in June when HR asked me aboard. Was the job offer of a lifetime. Been reading HR since I was a little kid so I jumped at the chance to work on it.

Forget the engine story. Did you see the Corvette Hack story? That was probably the funnest work I've ever done.

It took you long enough to find the thread.

My Dad took the magazine home with him, haven't seen it since I scanned those pages when I get a chance I'll scan the others and post the article. Very well done.

Someone told me you were thinking about an engine lease program

for $ 400.00 you'd lease your engine out for a weekend shipping not included of course.

Is that the video of you and a few others chopping-up/destroying (of all things) a Corvette? I didn't get it?
Now doing that to a Toyota etc would have had me riveted.

Yeah, take me for example: I have in my possession a 498 Ferd that broke 2-per twenty years ago. I'm amused to learn that the BBC platform is finally starting to gain ground.....although I doubt much in that "GM" engine has much for GM part numbers in it (unlike my Ferd which has a lot of Fomoco p/n's in it), lol.

Sorry Cyc, couldn't resist, Excellent numbers.

The artical said they have plans for the remains. The car was a total loss. Been thru a flood, sat out in the desert for years. It was toast. They had to pull the TPI and install a single four bbl just get it running. That vet was never going to see the light of day on the road again.

Make it 500 plus parts and labor to service it when you return it. Oh and you don't get to use the n2o either. I seen you drive. Your hard on stuff, Prez!

That video was pretty misleading. The article tells a better story of why we did it.

thanks. that pretty much sums up the sad state of that Vette before we cut it up. It's immensely more fun to drive now than it was when we got it.
