    Default dominator air bleeds???????

how do you order a pack to tune with? i looked around jegs and summit, found air bleed kits for a 1050hp but the biggest i find is 65. i'd like to start at 65 and have a kit that goes up from there to fine tune with. the carb guy said just drill em till its right, but that's not the right way of doin things.

here's the kit i'm looking at, but it doesn't say what sizes are actually in the kit??

guess for 200 bucks i can break out the drill instead i can get the orifice size for each number of bleed, than just buy a bit to match that. i've got a lil vise with plastic jaws to hold the bleed steady for me. the allstate guy wanted me to go ahead and drill them out to 73 thousandths, and leave it there.

    Default Fyi

Air bleeds, unlike main jets, are marked by their orifice size. 32 bleed =.032 hole. So drilling them to what you need is no problem.

i was told that by someone else and wasn't sure if it was true, thanx for confirming it

i checked at lunch to see what bleeds i had in mine, its got 63's in all 4 centers(the center bleed at each ventura is the 3rd circuit or intermediate right?). the allstate guy told me to pull them out completely and if that cured it (by leaning it out) to drill the bleeds to a .073 bit bit size, so i guess he wants me having 73 bleeds.

If you pull them out and drill to .073, I think it may be pretty close to not having any in at all ( I think .075 passage size?), it just looks better!

    Edit:

    Upon measuring, passage size .118

Missing 8 third circuit air bleeds in my boat right now. I didn't have time to mess with it last year, but this year I will probably just go down in fuel restriction orifice size on the third circuit so I can put some bleed restriction back in it. But it did cure the 1/5 throttle "rev limiter" syndrome on mine. That and a little float adjustment.

    Drill sizes:
    #49=.073
    #48=.076
    5/64=.0781
