    Default Cams

Questions, Questions, Questions. I am going to build a 600cu/in Dart BBC for my Hondo hydro with a supercharger. I am Not interested in racing it but firmly hold the idea that there is no substitute for cu/in or cu/dollars (not overly affraid to stick my foot down the carbs though either). Looking at a 14/71 and was looking at the CompCams roller stuff. Not married to any brand but want a mechanical roller. I do not want a cam that hunts 1000rpm at an idle all the time, that is my only concern. Probably Brodix CNC heads or something similar.

It has a GenV 454 with 2 600 marines holley and a tunnel in it right now and it performs OK but more is never enough!

Camshaft selection has absolutely nothing to do with blower surge. There has been entire threads just on that subject. Jocko
