Wow put me on the spot.

First things first. We are doing our normal thing. We are using what we have lying around. If I was buying from scratch then there would definately be some differences. Like more compression and different cam.

We had Jack at MPD race detail an impeller that will go right in our pump. We are taking a B/C out and putting in a AA. The impeller selection thread guys are all over the place with HP ratings and impeller sizes. I told Jack 1,300 HP and an equal amount of torque. He came up with the impeller and I trust him 200%

We have a 522 BBC Merlin III block with billet caps. Callies Crank and Rods. JE blower pistons 7.7:1 Edelbrock heads. Hydraulic roller turbo cam but running Morel solid rollers on it. Dart intake 16 160 lb bosch blue top injectors. FAST XFI FAST XIM 8 LS2 coils FAST Crank trigger. Enderle 990 pump belt driven. System 1 fuel filter will home make fuel rails from 1"id alum tubing. all #10 hose. Dual aeromotive EFI return regulators. Billet throttle body. Mark Unchained's stainless headers and a pair of 64mm T6 Garrett turbos. CO2 wastegates and FAST 4 step control.

That is about it. Plan to get started pretty soon. We will not have the power of Unchained or Hass. But do intend to outrun them.

Wow. NICE list of parts. Isn't -10 line and 1" ID tubing usually for WATER DISTRIBUTION???

I know you already have the ECM stuff, but I have been pouring over the specs of the new Holley Dominator ECU. Holley is not known (Yet) to be in the main-stream of top ECM stuff. But this ECM is $1600 or so and controls EVERYTHING. You just buy harnesses as you need them. DIS with 24x or 58x wheels, including a stand-alone wheel that bolts to the balancer! They seem to really be in the fight these days. I especially like (mainly for street-use) the dual-channel O2 section for dual sensors. Nice to know BOTH banks can be watched. I downloaded the software already and the screens look real nice. Appears to be real nice stuff. I mentioned this in the "other" thread.

that'll just be light work for the orange boat... your only challenge will be that black flat with the asian lookin guy driving. and when you smoke 'em, maybe the guys in that shop will look at the orange boat a little differently....

tom, it would be impossible to come on this forum for any length of time and NOT know what you theoretically have. you've got like 9000 posts talkin about it. this is right up there with rcl's gn boat - the project that never get's done, runs into every bump in the road, or make's it's own bumps to trip over.

on the other hand, ron bought a boat less than a year ago, completely re-rigged it, and it's badass the way it was. i have no doubt his deal will be done before spring, and he'll proceed smartly with it.

lol ron's boat is a ton different than "the way it wassss" when he got it only bump in my road is lack of funds due to divorce, my engine is ready to run as is my pump, once the hull interior is done, it goes in, boat goes to the water.the boat that'll never get done, that's funny since i've built myself 6 dragboats in the last decade guess im the only guy who took 2 winters to build 1
