Default Need info. on a Holley Volumax fuel pump!

This pump came with a buy that I made and was thinking of using it! Are they any good? Will it support two Dominators well? ETC.
Also on the info. page from Holley it says to have both inlet ports hooked to a fuel line! This one was plumbed with one line in and one was pluged will this have a bad effect? It has been ran this way I guess it's life! Any info would be great! Thanks WT

If it says 'Holley' anywhere on it put it in the circular file where all their shit belongs!

The gerotor design of the pump requires you to have 2 feeds for max flow. It may move fuel with only one, but not nearly what it will flow with both. Its not a matter of flow in you line from the tank. If you ran a -12 it wouldn't matter. The pump needs to be feed from two locations in the body of the pump.

Could you just tee the infeed line to feed both ports? Would this work to feed both ports or does iit have to have two different ports? WT

Yes you can tee it at the pump. think of it as 2 pumps with a common discharge port. You have to let fuel enter into the pump in both places.
