    anybody besides dart making them?how do they work.

    Yes. World Products makes a 16* conventional head. And like Steel said, they have their appplications.

    The Darts are an oval port and have a slightly larger combustion chamber at 98cc on the 330 head, the 383 head is 102 compared to the Merlin X's 80cc on the 345 as cast and 90cc on the 350 cnc'd.

    You have to want them pretty badly though. Neither is earth shattering in the flow department, and you need dedicated pistons.

    If they were all that, I think they would be selling like hot cakes.

    The only real upside to them is the chamber size. It could easily allow for a flat top and pump gas. But if your buying them for that, build a Ford.

    I have a pair Big Dukes that I would make a great deal on.

    Fresh heads, jesels, studs, intake and valve covers. A set of lifters that need one repaired.
