Default Can you find the weird comp roller?

I just found this roller on a motor I got in a boat a LONG time ago. This gen 6 502 motor had seen a lot of use. It was running ok when I pulled it apart with NO top end issues. Just goes to show WHO says Chevys have top end problems!! Belive it or not the rocker is in great condition. I think Comp will replace this dont ya think!!

Never used those, did not know that no hole is acceptable. Cool.

It's not acceptable on stud mount rockers like those Comp's you pictured.

Chris thru a curve ball at you talking about a shaft set-up that oils differently.

Ah I see. Thought it would be a different deal. I had a blocked push rod hole once and it killed the roller rocker in short order. This is a weird deal that it ran for many years with no trouble. Even funnier tho that who ever built it did not see it!!! Now thats even weirder to me
