    Default Steel Braided Hose Question

what is the difference in the rubber and the tephlon? Which is for what? I am thinking rubber for water and the tephlon for fuel? I am running alcohol and I know that the fuel breaks down the rubber. I tried google and got to impatient. Please advise, all might ones!

teflon is pretty much immune to everything. It is also stronger stonger than hell as far as pressure is concerned. It laughs at alky, nitro, brake fluids. Damn near anything. It also laughs when it sees you open your wallet. specially in sizes large enough for fuel, and oil.

Teflon is pretty much forever. Your alumn fitting will give up the ghost before the line does. The rubber will need replacement at some point.
