    Default automaker buyout

What a great idea, think about it we the people through government help could own the the automakers. That could be a step towards owning the oil industry, then we could have more green cars with the help of both and a better environment. With government ownership of both of those we would be on our way to a better tomorrow for all.

In basketball I think they have a great chance to win the PAC-10 again and make a run at the NCAA title. Depends on, among other factors, how the freshman play. We'll see. Fortunately I'll be going to some games this year.

Mid 70's at the river next week, but a chance of rain next Wednesday. Ah well. So looking forward to disconnecting for 9 days.

9 days at the river is better than one day of work. Even if it's gonna rain on wednesday.

What year Honda? My parents owned one of those Civic CVCC's in '76. That thing was tiny. It was like a motorcycle with two doors.

Mine's older, without the doors. LOL.

    1975 Honda CB750F Super Sport.

The 1990 Kawasaki ZX750 F4 Ninja 750R is down with a bad ignition contrioll box ($500).

The dual-points Honda runs like a top.

July 4th trip to Table Rock Lake had rain on the 3rd, and the 5th, and was STILL better than a single day @ work. 3 gorgeous days out of 5, 4 really, just lots of rain on 2 half-days.

Table Rock Lake was a wonderful lake back in the 60's and 70's. My family used to camp out on that whole chain of lakes, before Truman lake went in. Clearest water in the mid west (not Lake of the Ozarks though).

My dad and I used to dear hunt along the Grand river bottoms, also before Truman Lake went in. Friends had an old cabin we stayed at, out house and all.

The old timers told some great stories around the camp fire and old wood stove.

The story was, the dam inspectors would refuse to dive to inspect the dams because the cat fish were so big they would get eaten alive.

Started using a different hair gel today... I like it a lot better than the old brand.
