Default Near Miss With The Dcb M35 Black/silver

My wife and friends were anchored just north of catail cove about 50ft offshore when the poker run came through. The driver of the black and silver Dcb M35 swung wide and ran through the spectator boats behind the safety boat and barely missed us by 20 ft. This scared the living F***
out of all of us, if you ever seen a boat coming head on at you at 100 plus you will know this feeling.

TO THE DRIVER AND THROTTLE MAN-
IF I EVER RUN INTO YOU FACE TO FACE AND WE WILL, I OWE YOU SOMETHING. YOU PUT MY WIFE MY FRIENDS AND SEVERAL OTHER PEOPLES LIVES AT RISK RUNNING THROUGH SPECTATOR BOATS ALL FOR THE SAKE TRYING TO BE FIRST.

YOU TRULY ARE THE BIGGEST PILE OF S**T THERE IS!

Word is he got an ear full from a few people in the channel for his driving practices. Unknown if it was the red/white DCB driven by Dave or the Black/Silver DCB driven by JT. I'm sure neither were deliberate.

Another note he could have easily lifted and got back on course but the ego got in the way.

That sucks. Several people in the channel were cussing them out and flipping them off when they pulled out.

    Hope you guys are ok.

Could you report them to the local authorities?

Could never imagine the feeling you guys had.

its one thing to hose down or get close to the competition... they choose to be in that position . but to go off line

only a complete jackass would put spectators in danger..

not what i would expect to hear from the flag ship of DCB.

i would like to hear who was driving.

When I seen the black 35 he was right down the middle of the lake. He was no where near the boat flotillas by Steamboat.

DCB's are built for ego, not racing. When you run out of boat, sometimes you have to turn up the ego.

That's the kind of chit that gets permits pulled.

Someone ought to pull that guy off the course and explain that actions like that jeopardize, not only DS, but any and all future Poker Runs on that lake.

I agree its one thing to get close to others in the run but to spray people down and cut across the course is another...I don't think anyone "chooses" to be in that position.

I just talked to Bobbit and the dcb cut in fron him so bad it completely soaked his cockpit as well as Pyburn and some others. Needless to say, Mike's not happy about it. Not good driving, not safe and not good sportsmanship.
