    Default Delamination Issues

Since John West wont return phone calls and fallow up like he said he would we have no choice but to start trying to part out our Ultra 27 Shadow.

The boat is a 2008 model with est. 40hrs that has delimitation problems. We have a complete marine survey that has been done. That boat hull has been considered a loss but some say they think that the right fiberglass person may be able to fix the problem. The boat is outfitted with the following:
    • Teague 900 EFI with CMI Sport Tube Headers
    • Teague Platinum XR Drive painted Silver with polished lower
    • Imco quad steer transom
    • Imco Fuel System
    • Sea Strainer
    • ProMariner Pro Tournament 300 Quad battery charger/ shore power system
    • Quad Ultra Battery system with Silver painted battery boxes
    • Twin swim steps
    • Dana SP-500 Trim Tabs painted silver with mechanical indicators
    • Dana Billet Seat Bases
    • Dana Billet Controls
    • Dana Power Glass Wind Deflectors
    • Dana Hydraulic Hinges
    • Full Custom Interior with custom 3 person Poker Run Style rear seats with speakers and handles
    • Outside Stereo System includes Alpine head unit, JL Amps, JL HD Amp, tons of JL 6x9, JL 12'' Sub
    • Inside Cabin Stereo/Entertainment System includes Clarion DVD head unit, JL 6x9 speakers and a 7" DVD screen
    • Cruise-n-comfort climate control system in cabin A/C and Heater
    • Livorsi Monster Gauges including GPS
    • Pop up cleats
    • Front and rear showers
    • Extreme Triple Axle Trailer painted silver with 20" custom wheels and spare, Stainless tool box and fenders, torsion axles and oil bath hubs
Everything is in great shape and has estimated 40hrs of use. This boat was a one of a kind and nothing has been spared. Our loss is your gain.

Accepting all reasonable offers on everything. If you have any questions or need additional photos please let me know. I also can be reached at 505-330-9584.

There are not many delam problems that can't be fixed relatively reasonable unless the whole boat is delam or something of that nature which would be highly unusual. I'd explore that before you elect to part it out.

I remember shooting the photos of that at the LA Show.

thats what i'm sayin rex! it is a shame to part out that beautiful boat, i could not imagine more than say a sponson or so being delamed, sure it can be fixed!

Exactly and you will never get anywhere close to the price of the total running boat parting it. Not on a later model boat in this class anyway. Old clunkers yeah sure but not this stuff.

There are lots of guys who can fix this kind of thing, a couple are mentioned above I think.

Pats Fiberglass in Upland and Kornowski's Boat Works in Havasu are a couple more.

Hey sport cat, I'm with you.

Having that kind of horsepower and speed, and then have to worry about if the patch work is going to hold together on the hull, is not very comforting, when you bought and expected much better.

You might want to pick up one of those magic hulls floating around looking for your parts, and have someone rig your new boat?
